Lost Paradise Bahrain – Dilmun Water Park in Sakhir is a fully themed water park featuring slides, pools and various other thrilling water attractions. The entire park is extensively themed based on the historical Dilmun period of Bahrain’s’ history. 5 minute drive from the Bahrain International Circuit and 25 mins from Manama/Seef district. 20 minute drive from Saudi Arabian causeway and just over an hour drive from the Eastern Province.
PARK FACILITIES
Zone 1 – Falcons’ Dive
Boomerango Pendulum style large slide where guests slide on a tube from a height of 19 metres – up and down until gravity brings them down
Superbowl Large slide followed by a round bowl which “twirls” each tube until it deposits into the pool below.
Speed Slides Two 23 metre high slides that go straight down – fast!
Body Slides Three open flume rides that take guests on a slippery and winding ride from the 23 metre high tower to the splash pool below.
Zone 2 – Kids’ Mesopomania
Battle Boat and A 2011 addition to LPOD a large pool designed for the Training pool New Battle Boat Kids attraction and the ability to teach and hold swimming courses in LPOD!
Kids’ Rain Fortress Specially designed for children under 10 years, this interactive wet fortress is pure magic for the kids – 3 stories of wet play – tipping buckets, water guns, wheels pipes and small slides.
Tots’ Pool Wading pool with tiny slides and water features for our littlest guests under 3 years to enjoy.
Zone 3 – Tylosplash
Family Raft Ride This is the tallest ride in the park at 26 metres high! Guests sit 4 people to a round raft which makes it way from this dizzying height via large curving slides.
Tube Slides Four of these large slides carry riders in tubes from top to bottom – sometimes fast, sometimes slow, sometimes up, sometimes down, sometimes light and sometimes dark – but always wet!
Zone 4 – Dilmun Beach
Wave Pool The largest in the GCC region with the only sandy beach – truly an oasis in the desert. Each wave reaches up to 1 metre in height.
Zone 5 – Qasar Enki
Spa Pool Built in seating, therapeutic water jets, jacuzzi pumps and a swim-up refreshment counter make this possibly the most fun pool in the park
Paradise River This 325 metre long river winds it way through the park, past fountains, waterfalls and statues, through tunnels and ruins and is a sensory experience with smoke, sound and light effects.
Zone 6 – Oasis Pool
Swimming Pool This relaxing pool features a natural riverbed finish with built in water features.
RETAIL: The Souq
1000 sqm area at the park entrance selling logo merchandise and souvenirs, resort wear, swimwear, pool accessories, film, sun block, towels – everything you will need for a day of play in the park!
